SongRepeater

About SongRepeater

SongRepeater helps musicians and learners practice specific parts of YouTube songs. Paste a link, mark repeatable regions on a timeline, and loop the section you are working on without downloading audio.

Who it is for

Anyone learning a riff, solo, vocal line, or drum fill from a YouTube video. Teachers can share a video link and students see the same marked regions when they open it.

How it works

Playback uses the official YouTube player. You slice regions with the keyboard or by dragging on the timeline, turn loop mode on, and repeat the part until it sticks. Regions can be named, grouped by color, and annotated with practice notes.

What we store

In the current local preview, your regions and video metadata stay in your browser only. Nothing is sent to our servers. When cloud sync is enabled later, we will store only the YouTube video id, region timestamps, labels, and notes needed to share loops for the same video.

What we do not do

SongRepeater does not download, extract, or rehost YouTube audio. It does not replace YouTube. You need a normal internet connection and YouTube must allow playback for the video you open.
